USD 0.00

A high quality restoration completed around 20 years ago, this 1925 Rugby Type F tourer is in outstanding condition. The paintwork. trim, hood and side curtains, nickel plating and engine compartment are all beautifully presented, the 4 road tyres are new, it runs and drives beautifully. Amazingly, we have it’s history going back to 1929, including the original instruction manual and reg papers, 1 owner from 1929-1964, second owner 1964-2011 .(purchased for his sons 13th birthday to use on the family farm), restored from the ground up by the same family 1980-2000, and has had limited use since. The Rugby was produced by the Durant Motor Company. William Durant was the founder of General Motors in 1908, his involvement in GM ceased in 1920. He formed the Durant Motor Company in 1921, it remained in business until 1935. Durant produced the Star, Locomobile, Flint, Rugby and Durant cars. This model has a “L” head 4 cylinder 18.23hp Continental engine and a 3 speed centre change gearbox.

Impossible to restore a vintage car to this high standard for anywhere near the asking price, a lovely vintage car, now ready for a new home.
