This car has had a ground up restoration in the 80’s and has been used sparingly since. The paintwork, trim, engine compartment, side curtains and chrome all in very good order, a large history file and original instruction manual are included, it runs and drives beautifully. The Rugby was produced by the Durant Motor Company. William Durant was the founder of General Motors in 1908, his involvement with GM ceased in 1920. He formed the Durant Motor Company in 1921, it remained in business until 1935. Durant produced the Star, Flint, Locomobile, Rugby and Durant cars. This model has a “L” head 4 cylinder Continental engine and a 3 speed centre change gearbox. A lovely rally car, well restored and ready for it’s next custodian.
