This 1928 Rugby Model M2 Tourer was produced by the Durant Motor Company. William Durant was the founder of General Motors in 1908, his involvement with GM ceased in 1920 and in 1921 he formed the Durant Motor Company, it remained in business until 1935. Durant produced the Star, Locomobille, Flint and Rugby cars. This excellent restored Rugby Model M2 has the improved Continental 4 cylinder "L" head engine producing 36hp with a 3 speed transmission.
