Sunbeam produced high quality cars in low volume at Wolverhampton, UK from 1905 until 1934, and then became part of the Rootes Group. This most imposing 1928 Sunbeam Sixteen Tourer with a "California" Hardtop has had a high quality restoration a few years ago, it now shows a wonderful patina (it was Australian Classic Car magazines Restoration of the year in 2004).The paintwork and leather trim are beautiful. Amazingly it still has its original instruction manual with the first owners details! Fitted with original Rotax headlights, Jaeger instruments, Claudel Hobson carburettor, and 6 wheel equiptment with 21" wire wheels. The Sunbeam Sixteen has a 2040cc, 6 cylinder ohv engine, 4 speed gearbox and 4 wheel brakes. This 1928 Sunbeam Sixteen is a most imposing high quality car, it looks fabulous and is fun to drive, an excellent rally car. This car is most realistically priced, a great investment.
