The Rolls Royce 20hp model was built with the intention to broaden the marque's reach from the fabulously wealthy to the merely very rich! This wonderful 1925 Rolls Royce 20hp Limousine is in excellent original condition, it has had the same caring owner for over 20 years The body was built new by Waring Brothers, Coachbuilders of Melbourne, it has fold out "occasional" rear seats giving a 7 seat option. This car was delivered new to Mr William Fyvie in Melbourne 19/12/1925 by Dalgety's (the Victorian agents), it has a continuous history from new. Fitted with all its original factory features including, Lucas "Prince of Darkness"headlights and side lights, divers helmet taillight, fishtail exhaust, AT spedometer, steel artillery wheels, leather spring gaitors, and luggage rack. Repainted over 20 years ago it still presents well, the leather trim, engine compartment etc are great, it runs and drives superbly as the engine has been completely rebuilt recently, this car has been mechanically maintained to a very high standard by Adelaide's leading vintage car specialist. The 20hp Rolls Royce was produced from 1922-1929, only 2885 were made, it has a 6 cylinder ohv 3127cc engine and a 3 speed centre change gearbox, this car runs beautifully ,very quiet and smooth with ample performance. Now showing a lovely patina, this rare car is great value, it is ready for a new home.
