This 1928 Plymouth" Model Q " Tourer was restored in the 1980,s it presents very well, the paint, trim, chrome, hood and side curtains are all in good order, the engine compartment is neat and tidy, it drives beautifully. The Plymouth was introduced in 1928 by Chrysler as a competitor to Ford and Chevrolet (although it was a little more expensive). The Model Q had revolutionary rubber engine mounts, 4 wheel hydraulic brakes and a strong 2790cc side valve 4 cylinder engine giving 60mph+ smooth performance. It has all its original features including Two Lite Headlights, Buckeye Deluxe Bumper Bars, Vaccum tank and 20inch wooden wheels. This model has a fully adjustable front seat, much easier and more comfortable for the larger driver.The Plymouth Model Q had a good reputation, it was known as a very strong and reliable car with good touring ability.
