Buick produced the Marquette only in 1929-30. The Marquette used all Buick components but differed from other models having a large 6 cylinder flat head engine (similar to the Oldsmobile), it had an impressive 67.5hp and was capable of over 70mph. This model has a body Built by Holden’s in Adelaide, it is one of around 1300 imported to Australia. This 1929 Buick Marquette tourer is in wonderful condition. Fully restored from top to bottom to original specification, the paintwork, trim, chrome, engine compartment, wheels and tyres and hood and side curtains all immaculate.. This beautifully restored car is a multiple concourse winner. The Buick Marquette had a very good reputation as a reliable and strong performer, impossible to restore to this standard for anywhere near the asking price.
