This is an excellent example of an Australian delivered Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 Roadster, it has been well restored a few years ago, the paintwork, leather trim, hood and side curtains chrome, wheels and tyres and engine compartment are all great., it’s history is known since the 1960’s, delivered new in Melbourne, Heritage Certificate confirms the Carmine red paintwork with black leather interior is as it was when delivered new in February 1955. has had the last enthusiastic owner for around 25 years. The Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 has a large 2,600 cc 4 cylinder OHV engine, a 3 speed centre change gearbox with overdrive on the top 2 gears. The 100/4 BN1 is the first model big Healey off the line and my favorite (i have a similar one home in the shed!). It is the only model big Healey with a fold flat windscreen and in my opinion it is one of the best. The large 4 cylinder engine produces huge amounts of low down torque and has a lovely exhaust note, it’s awesome! This is a very good example, exceptional value.
