This great 1929 Austin 7 "Chummy" has been comprehensively restored to original specification. The paintwork, trim (including hood), and brightwork are all in excellent condition, the engine compartment is detailed as it should be, it runs and drives very well. The 1929 Austin 7 has a 747cc 10hp side valve 4 cylinder engine, a 3 speed centre change transmission and 4 wheel cable operated brakes. 1929 was the first year with coil ignition and the last of the famous "Chummy" model.The Austin 7 was built from 1922-1939, exceptionally economical and reliable, now the early "Chummy" models are most collectable, this is an excellent example.
