This 1929 De Soto Six Phaeton has been well restored to original specification, the paint, trim, chrome, hood and side curtains are all imaculate, the engine compartment is neat and tidy, it runs and drives beautifully. The De Soto was built by the Chrysler Corporation from 1928-1960 originally to compete with Nash, Studebaker and Oldsmobile, this model was well regarded and known to be strong and reliable. The 1929 De Soto has a 6 cylinder 21.6 hp engine with a 3 speed centre change transmission, Hydraulic 4 wheel brakes and rubber engine mounts (both rare in cars of this vintage).This wonderful De Soto Phaeton is a strong performer with 75kph cruising ability and good hydraulic 4 wheel brakes, an excellent drive anywhere rally car.
