This stunning 1956 Bentley S1 Saloon was delivered new in Melbourne by the Victorian agents Kellow Faulkener and has been comprehensive restored to very high standard, it was displayed at the Lindsay Fox Museum for many years. Since it came out of hibernation in 2006 the engine has been totally rebuilt and under the bonnet highly detailed, receipts of over $27,000 for this work accompany the car, it has not been used much since. The paintwork, chrome, engine compartment, wheels and tyres etc are all in outstanding condition, the interior woodwork and leather trim is amazing! all the original tools, instruction manual and workshop manual also are included. The Bentley S1 has a very large 4.9 litre 6 cylinder engine and a 4 speed auto trans with "more than ample" performance!This is one of the best examples of this model surviving in Australia, it is not often that a Bentley S Type of this quality comes on the market, very realistically priced and now ready for a new owner.
