This wonderful 1956 Austin Healey 100/4 BN2 Roadster is in excellent order, it is a genuine numbers matching Australian delivered car and quite rare, a British Heritage Certificate confirming it's specification and a very comprehensive receipt file dating back 35 years are included, it has had the same enthusiastic owner for over 23 years. The ultimate development of the 4 cylinder "Big Healey", the BN2 with its 4 speed gearbox with overdrive and uprated rear axle is highly sought after by enthusiasts. With lightness and a balance advantage over the 6 cylinder Healeys, the BN2 is often the purists choice. Although this "Big Healey" was restored some time ago, the paint, leather trim, wheels and tyres, chrome, hood and tonneau are in excellent condition, it also has a desirable louvered bonnet with leather strap, Lucas "Prince of Darkness" fog lamps and a period Nardi wood rim steering wheel and the engine has also been converted to run on unleaded fuel.The 100/4 Healey is my favourite, it has a large 2,660cc 4 cylinder engine with a huge amount of torque and a great exhaust note! The 100/4 was the only model "Big Healey" with the fold flat windscreen and in my opinion aesthetically the best. Only 4604 of this famous series were produced. This is an excellent unmolested car and in my opinion represents great value, a special opportunity.
