This charming 1954 Austin A30 Sedan is in very good original condition. The paintwork is older but presents well, the trim is as per original and in very good order, under the bonnet is neat and tidy and not been mucked about with too much over the years, it runs and drives very well. Recently, the brakes have been rebuilt, clutch replaced, gearbox reconditioned, and the shock absorbers rebuilt, recent receipts for over $8,000 accompany the car. The tyres are retreads and are OK but older. The Austin A30 was a compact motorcar produced by the Austin Motor Company and marketed as a new model Austin 7, they were built under license in Australia from 1952-1956, this was Austin's answer to the Morris Minor. The Austin A30 has a 803cc BMC A Series engine(28bhp!) and a 4 speed centre change gearbox, easy to drive and great fun. This Austin A30 is in very good original condition, does not suffer from the rust problems associated with these cars, great value.
