This charming 1923 Austin 12 Clifton tourer is the early narrow track model, and is in good original condition. The paintwork is older but quite prestentable, the trim is also older and servicable ( some is original and shows a large amount of patina!), the hood and side curtains are excellent and the wheels and tyres are also in good condition, under the bonnet is neat and tidy, it runs and drives beautifully. Fitted with its original 21 inch Sankey wheels, beautiful Smiths instruments, CAV head and side lights with original "Divers Helmet" tail light and factory luggage rack. The 1923 Austin 12 has a 1661cc 4 cylinder side valve engine with magneto ignition, and a wonderful centre change 4 speed gearbox.This car is most original and correct, it is mechanically excellent, and can be used and enjoyed as is or easily improved.
